About the Victorian Pinup Pageant
The Victorian Pinup Pageant is a highly anticipated event that takes place annually during Ballarat Heritage Week. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, starting at 12:00 pm. The pageant, which is a segment of the Australian Pinup Pageant, is designed to celebrate Pinups in a performance-based competition that promotes confidence, self-awareness, and equality.
The event is open to novice and experienced competitors, and all categories are gender-neutral, promoting inclusivity and diversity in the community. This year’s event promises to be a fantastic family-friendly affair, featuring entertainment, music, and fashion from yesteryear.
The event is hosted by Lana-Rose Fashion & Events and Viva La Vintage, and participants can register through the Lana-Rose website. In the evening, the Revue De’ Ballarat, a burlesque and variety show, will be presented by The Australian Pinup Pageant, featuring an array of talented performers, including The Sugar Show Girls and others.
